Sweet Tooth Saturday!

This is a recipe from my sister in law Annie. It is most delicious and easy to make. With all the yummy fruit available right now this is the perfect treat!

Fruit Pizza Dessert

Crust:
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine cream cheese and butter or margarine, mix until well blended. Add flour and salt, mix well. form into a ball, wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to form a 12 inch circle. Place in a greased 12 inch tart or pizza pan. Prick the bottom and sides with a fork. Bake at 425 for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
You could also use a sugar cookie mix or pre made refrigerated sugar cookie dough.

Cream Cheese Topping:
12 ounces softened cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup cool whip
Combine cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice, mix until well blended. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust.

Top with any combination of strawberries, kiwi, peaches, mandarin oranges, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries or any other fruit you like. (melons do not work as well, they are a bit juicy for this) Arrange fruit in circles working towards center.
