In honor of my niece Karliann's high school graduation I thought I would post one of her favorite meals. Hope you enjoy it too. (how could you not, it involves heavy cream and butter?)
Alfredo Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup butter
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in small sauce pan and simmer on low until melted and mixed, stirring continually, about 20 minutes. Whisk until smooth before serving over pasta.
Can be refrigerated and used again if reheated on low heat. Remember to whisk again.
This is really good served with chicken and mushrooms!
