Sweet Tooth Saturday!

I made these creepy S'more Monster treats for some of my little guys friends and my cute Activity Days girls in my ward. They were a HUGE hit! One girl even chose the one with the droopy eye on the left side, second down, she said it looked scary! Boo Ya!
Making a Halloween treat is easy when you go the creepy monster route, because the crazier, the better!

Please take note that I just used what I had on hand, you can tweak this recipe to whatever you have on hand.

S'more Monsters

3 Tablespoons margarine or butter
1 10 oz package regular marshmallow or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 12 ox box Golden Grahams
10 snack size chocolate bars or 1 cup chocolate chips
green food coloring
28 M&Ms or other round candy for eyes
28 candy corns or banana runts for horns
14 mini Kit Kat bars or any other mini candy bar (broken in half, one per monster)

You should get 14 monsters out of this batch.

Line 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper, make individual tinfoil covered cardboard squares or use small paper plates.
Melt margarine or butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Add green food coloring to desired green color.
Remove from heat and add Golden Grahams and chocolate and stir until well coated.
Spray hands with cooking spray and form a "blob" of mixture and place on prepared cookie sheets or plates.
Immediately attach the candy eyes and horns to the monsters. If the mixture has already set up you can use frosting or in my case, pudding, to attach the eyes and horns. (Again, I used what I had on hand!)
Push candy bar feet up against the monsters.

There you go! Creepy, spooky, messy, freaky, Halloweeny looking Monsters!
