HOT Quaker sale at Smith's!

So, I walked to my mailbox this afternoon and found a great surprise! The Smith's ad that starts tomorrow has Quaker cereal and oatmeal on sale 5 for $5 when you buy 5 with your Smith's card. Then, I looked at the Albertson's ad and found they have the same deal, $1 each when you buy 5. The BIG difference: The Albies ad has a manufacturer coupon for $3.00 off when you buy 5 Quaker products.

So, here's what I'm thinkin' ladies: cut out the manufacturer coup from the Albertson's ad and head on over to Smith's to score 5 boxes of cereal for $2! But wait.. it gets better, the Lin's ad has the same coupon as well as the Harmon's ad from Monday and last week! So gather together your $3/5 coups and get going! That's only $.40 a box! The items included are 14-16 oz. Cap'n Crunch, Crunchberry or Peanut Butter and Life original or Cinnamon. Also included are select varieties of Quaker instant oatmeal.

Update: It turns out that on the Lin's coupon in very small print it says Associated Foods Stores, so Smiths is not taking them! Sorry about that one!

Other coupons to consider:

$1/1 Quaker Oatmeal

$1/1 Quaker True Delight's oatmeal

Here is what it will look like:
Buy 5 Quaker items $10
Instantly save $5 with card
Use $3/5 coupon
Final price: $.40!

If you can print 4 coupons from above do this:
Buy 5 Quaker oatmeal $10
Instantly save $5 with card
Use 4 $1/1 printables
Final price: $.20!

One more thing to remember: The ad says limit $5 off per transaction, so if you plan on getting more than 5 items just separate your transactions.

Emilee, I love that you're posting deals you guys find specifically down here. Do you remember Stephanie Steele from the 17th ward? She's one of my best friends...her sister is the Krazy Coupon Lady up in Idaho.
Great blog! I'm excited to keep up on this.

This worked for me in Utah county too. Their snuggle is also $3.99 with the $3 off coupon I got 10 boxes of cereal and two snuggles for a little over $6. YEA!

Nice work LeAnn! Thanks for checking us out too! Do you get the newspaper in Utah County? If not let us know, we can help!

I cut out coupons from Fresh Market and two other local Associated Foods ads and my Smiths here in Farmington would nottake them because the fine print says it is only good at Associated Food stores. Too bad! $1 per box still aint bad!

I had the same problem with Smiths in Ogden not accepting the coupons. Pretty disappointing!
